Terms of use

By using tezkeys (tezkeys.com) you accept these terms. The service is provided by RULLA LTD (İngiltere ve Galler’de kayıtlı şirket, sicil no 17161340; 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, Birleşik Krallık).

1. The service

tezkeys reads the thesis or paper you upload using AI and generates a report: problems in the argument, method and findings, likely committee questions, and a citation and reference check. The service does not write text for you; it tells you what needs to change, why, and in which direction.

2. Nature of the report

• The report is generated by AI and can make mistakes: it may miss a problem or present something that is not a problem as one. Check every finding against your own text.
• The report does not replace the assessment of your advisor, your committee or reviewers, and gives no assurance about the outcome of your defense or your submission for publication.
• The reference check relies on automatic matching and Crossref records; books, theses and web sources may not be in Crossref. A “Not found” result does not mean that the source does not exist.
• The service is not a plagiarism or AI detection tool.

3. The document you upload

Upload only documents you have the right to upload: your own work, or work whose owner has given permission. The rights to the document remain with you; you grant us permission to process it only to the extent needed to generate the report. How the document is processed and how long it is kept is described in the privacy policy.

4. Uploads

• The reference pre-check is free. The full report is paid and is deducted from the uploads you have purchased.
• 1 upload is the full report of one document of up to 150 pages; longer documents count as 1 upload for every 150 pages. For documents with unusually dense pages (more than 400 words per page on average), the number of uploads is calculated from the word count: 1 upload for every 60,000 words. How many uploads the document will count as is shown before you start the report.
• Uploading a corrected version of the same document again counts as a new upload.
• The full report also includes the defense rehearsal, which gives feedback on the answers you write to the committee questions. Rehearsals are limited in number per report (currently 15); your remaining allowance is shown on the report screen.
• When you create an account, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time from the My account page; when you do, your reports and stored document texts are permanently deleted, and your unused uploads are forfeited and are not returned.

5. Reports that cannot be completed, and refunds

• If a report cannot be completed for a technical reason, you can try again without using a new upload. If 2 attempts also fail, the upload used is returned automatically.
• For a pack that has not been used at all, you can request a refund of the price within 14 days after the purchase date. For partly used packs, the refund for the remaining uploads is made after deducting the price of the uploads used.
• The upload for a successfully completed report is not returned because of dissatisfaction with the content of the report; if you think a report contains a clear error, write to us and we will look at it together.

6. Unacceptable use

Querying the service intensively with automated tools, trying to exceed its limits or breach its security, using someone else’s uploads without permission, and uploading unlawful content are prohibited. In these cases we may restrict or terminate access.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. The decisions you make based on the report and the academic outcomes of your work are your responsibility. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages that may arise from the use of the service; in all cases our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the report concerned. Your rights under consumer legislation are reserved.

8. Changes and governing law

If these terms change, the current version is published on this page; uploads you purchased before the change are not affected. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Turkish version, the Turkish version prevails.
